Nathalie is part of the studio since 2017.

Nathalie primarily draws and paints portraits of people from her immediate surroundings. She used to find her inspiration in magazines and books in the studio. Nathalie would mostly draw animals, interiors and plants.

 

Her oeuvre has been growing at an astounding speed since she started at the studio.  Now, she often starts from pictures taken with her cellphone, which she always has on hand. There is a lot of variation in her work: her themes have been changing a lot in recent months. An undeniable spontaneity and directness in her markings, however, are a constant in her work.

 

Her visual language is very stylized. People are depicted in just a few simple,  characteristic lines and shapes.
