Rozette is a passionate artist who  fills her days painting, even outside Studio Borgerstein's walls.  She has been active as an artist for a very long time.  In her work, she combines various techniques, such as pastels, conté  and watercolour, resulting in lively images.  She is inspired by motifs and patterns which she meticulously explores and combines into one image.  Old Masters in painting equally excite and inspire her.

Although Rozette always starts from an existing painting, she completely transforms the original image into one of her own.  She is undeniably a virtuoso when it comes to reinterpreting images.  Shapes and colours flow organically, giving her work a dreamy feel. Her work shows similarities with work by artists such as Aloise Corbazand and Charlotte Salomon.
